2. User Accounts

Some App features require a user account. You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account. Please notify TCCAC if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Accounts are intended for individual use unless TCCAC specifically authorizes a shared or organizational account.

3. Appropriate Use

Users agree to use the TCCAC App for legitimate purposes related to TCCAC programs, services, professional development, quality improvement, and other authorized activities.

Users may not:

  • Attempt to access another person's account without authorization;
  • Submit knowingly false, fraudulent, or misleading information;
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the App;
  • Upload malicious software or harmful content;
  • Use information obtained through the App for unauthorized commercial purposes;
  • Copy, distribute, or misuse confidential or restricted information; or
  • Use the App in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of another person or organization.

TCCAC may restrict or suspend access when necessary to protect users, data, programs, or the security and integrity of the App.

4. User Content and Community Standards

The App may allow users to share posts, images, links, comments, and other content (“User Content”). You are responsible for the User Content you share.

TCCAC has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Users may not post, share, or link to content that:

  • Is abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory;
  • Is sexually explicit, obscene, or exploitative, including any content that sexualizes or endangers a child;
  • Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
  • Disrespects Tribal Nations, cultures, or communities, or shares Tribal cultural materials without permission;
  • Discloses another person’s private or confidential information without permission, including information about children or families; or
  • Is false, misleading, spam, or otherwise inappropriate for a professional community.

Users may report objectionable content through the App and may block abusive users. TCCAC reviews reports and may remove content, with or without notice. TCCAC may suspend or permanently terminate the account of any user who violates this section.

5. Program Information and Submissions

Information submitted through the App may be used by TCCAC to administer its programs, provide technical assistance, process program participation or incentive requests, evaluate program activities, meet funding or reporting requirements, and improve services.

Users are responsible for ensuring that information they submit is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

Submitting information through the App does not automatically guarantee eligibility, approval, payment, reimbursement, certification, or participation in a TCCAC program. Individual programs may have additional eligibility requirements, deadlines, documentation requirements, and procedures.

6. Privacy and Data

TCCAC respects the privacy of App users and seeks to collect only information reasonably necessary to administer programs and provide services.

Information collected through the App may include account and contact information, organizational or program information, training and professional development records, attendance information, survey responses, Needs Assessments, Quality Improvement Plans, Workforce Pathways information, and other information voluntarily submitted by users.

TCCAC's collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information is further described in the TCCAC App Privacy Policy, which should be reviewed along with these Terms.

7. Tribal and Program Information

TCCAC recognizes that information shared by Tribal communities and Tribal early learning and care programs may have cultural, community, or organizational significance.

Access to information within the App does not grant users ownership of, or permission to reproduce, distribute, publish, or otherwise use, Tribal cultural materials, program-specific information, or other restricted content outside its intended purpose.

Users should respect Tribal sovereignty, community protocols, confidentiality, and applicable data-sharing expectations when accessing or using information through the App.

8. Training and Professional Development Records

The App may maintain records of training registration, attendance, professional development, certificates, or related activities.

Users should review their records and notify TCCAC if they believe information is incorrect. While TCCAC works to maintain accurate records, users are encouraged to retain copies of important certificates and professional development documentation for their own records.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may contain links to websites, resources, registration systems, video platforms, or services operated by third parties.

TCCAC does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policies.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, materials developed by TCCAC and made available through the App—including documents, graphics, training materials, forms, resources, logos, and other content—are owned by or licensed to TCCAC.

Users may access and use these materials for their intended educational, professional, or program purposes. Materials may not be sold, commercially reproduced, substantially modified, or represented as another organization's work without permission.

Materials belonging to Tribal Nations, partner organizations, trainers, consultants, or other third parties remain subject to the rights and restrictions established by their respective owners.

11. Availability and Changes to the App

TCCAC works to maintain reliable access to the App but cannot guarantee that the App will always be available or free from errors, interruptions, or technical problems.

TCCAC may modify, add, remove, or temporarily suspend features as necessary for maintenance, security, program changes, or continued development.

When deadlines are associated with a TCCAC program, users experiencing technical difficulties should contact TCCAC as soon as possible.

12. Disclaimer

The TCCAC App is provided as a tool to support TCCAC programs and services.

To the extent permitted by law, TCCAC is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including internet outages, device failures, third-party service interruptions, or unauthorized access caused by a user's failure to protect account credentials.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.

13. Account Suspension or Termination

TCCAC may suspend or terminate access to the App when a user:

  • Violates these Terms;
  • Posts objectionable content or engages in abusive behavior toward other users;
  • Misuses the App or another user's information;
  • Creates a security or privacy risk;
  • No longer participates in an applicable TCCAC program; or
  • Engages in activity that may harm TCCAC, participating programs, or other users.

When appropriate, TCCAC will make reasonable efforts to resolve account or access issues before permanently terminating access.

14. Changes to These Terms

TCCAC may update these Terms of Use as the App, programs, or legal requirements change.

The current version will be made available through the App. When significant changes are made, TCCAC may provide additional notice within the App or through other appropriate communication.

Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
